THE SAMSUNG DIGITAL MEDIA AWARDS CELEBRATE AND SHOWCASE EXCELLENCE WITHIN THE DIGITAL MEDIA SECTOR IN IRELAND
The cream of the Irish digital media world gathered on Friday, February 21st at the 11th annual Samsung Digital Media Awards. A record number of entries were received this year, demonstrating how critical the medium of digital has become to all organisations from SME’s, NGO’s to multinationals. The range of categories was extended to 27 for 2014, reflecting the ongoing evolution of the digital media sector in Ireland.
RTÉ Digital won the award in The Best Integrated Entertainment / News Service category which aims to “recognise the very best entertainment and news services in Ireland which are integrated across multiple platforms in order to accommodate a population which is constantly on the go”.
